Credits 001-General Information ----------------------------------------------------------- This is a walkthrough for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) game called Sesame Street ABC. Isn't it great, they made a Sesame Street video game? Play it for some good, clean fun, and to help with your spelling (I've seen your e-mails. They're not good. Where did you lern to spel?) If you want to e-mail me, you can do so at ilovecartoonssomuch@yahoo.com, but make the subject blank if you do. Also, if you want to use part of this guide for something, please ask first. Check out my website (see above) for another cool guide for this game. 002-Walkthrough ----------------------------------------------------------- When you start the game, you can choose Letter Go Round or Ernie's Big Splash. I recommend waiting before you choose so you can hear the Sesame Street theme song, complete with the words onscreen so you can sing along. 002a-Letter Go Round ----------------------------------------------------------- You get six games you can play here. They're all very similiar. Upper Case Matching ------------------- A ferris wheel with six uppercase letters on it is spinning around. On the ground and right of the ferris wheel is an upper case letter. This letter will be the same as a letter on the ferris wheel. When the letter on the ferris wheel is closest to the ground (it will be above a small circle made up of stars), press A. If you got the correct letter, it bounces over and hits the gong. It will then bounce into the circle of stars. Either Bert or Ernie will pop up and put another letter on the wheel. If you choose the wrong letter, it bounces on the ground, and stops with a thud until it bounces back onto the ferris wheel. Get three letters correct and some Seasame Street people come on and start dancing. Oh boy! Press start to ironically get them to stop. If you don't, they eventually go away and fireworks start popping in the background. Then the upper case matching game restarts. Lower Case Matching ------------------- Pretty much the same as the upper case matching except it is with lower case letters. In case you don't know, A is an upper case letter, and a is a lower case letter. Mixed Case Matching ------------------- Just like Upper Case and Lower Case Matching except that some of the letters on the ferris wheel are upper case letters and some of them are lower case letters. One Little Word --------------- Here's where it starts to get a big tougher. One the ground, instead of a letter, is a three letter word. While the ferris wheel spins, choose the first letter of the word, then choose the second letter of the word, and then the third letter. Different, but not that tough. What's Missing? --------------- On the ground will be two letters and a blank space. You need to choose a letter to put in the blank so the letters spell out a word. This is tricky because the game only accepts certain words. For example, the game will accept hid but not did. For more information on the game not accpeting words, check my website (http://the_lost_gamer.tripod.com/), which has some stuff on that. Spell the Secret Word --------------------- The toughest one of all. This time there is nothing on the ground. You have to choose three letters off the ferris wheel to spell a word without any hints on what the word is. Hard because the game will only accept certain words, and it will reject others. 002b-Ernie's Big Splash ----------------------------------------------------------- Ernie's Challenge ----------------- Oh no! Ernie is separated ffom his beloved Rubber Ducky! Now, you know Ernie can't take a bubble bath without Rubber Ducky! You'll have to help Rubber Ducky make it to Ernie! Press the arrow buttons and different types of plumbing appear. Rubber Ducky will follow the arrows. All you have to do is make a path from Rubber Ducky to Ernie. For example, if E is Ernie and RD is Rubber Ducky: RD--E You need to have two pieces that take Rubber Ducky from left to right to get to Ernie. It's not that hard, you can figure it out. When Rubber Ducky gets to Ernie, you get to see Rubber Ducky's journey starting from the beginning. Ernie then plays with Rubber Ducky. Ernie's Fun Challenge --------------------- Same as Ernie's challenge except there is another person on the board, and Rubber Ducky can visit that person on his journey to Ernie. Ernie's Super Fun Challenge --------------------------- Same as Ernie's Fun Challenge. Hope you have a lot of Super Fun! 003-Credits ----------------------------------------------------------- This FAQ is copyright of The Lost Gamer, 2002.
